- How long does Cyber Essentials really take?
- Cyber Essentials typically takes 2-4 weeks from kick-off, depending on how prepared your environment is. Cyber Essentials Plus adds 4-6 weeks for the audit and any remediation. Your fixed-price proposal includes a realistic timeline, not a marketing one.
- What happens if we fail the CE Plus audit?
- IASME allows a remediation window where specific controls don't pass first time. We work through the failures with you and resubmit at no additional fee. If a fix requires hardware or software you don't have, the cost is yours - but it's flagged during our pre-audit before the assessor ever sees it.
- What is not included in your fixed price?
- Hardware, software licences, and third-party tools you need to put in place. Penetration testing beyond what CE Plus requires. SOC 2, ISO 27001, or DORA work. Our scope is Cyber Essentials, CE Plus, UK GDPR, DSP Toolkit, and ongoing compliance support.
- Do you work on-site, remotely, or both?
- Most engagements are delivered remotely. On-site visits across the North West are included where they make sense - typically for CE Plus audits or initial scoping. No travel charges within the North West.
